Huffy has retained a third party to provide an independent review of the valuation of certain intangible assets. Although the Company has received a preliminary report, given the significant reduction in valuation, the Company has elected not to release its quarterly earnings until the report has been finalized. The Company currently plans to release earnings in advance of Monday, May 24, 2004, the final date to remain compliant with SEC guidelines for timely filing.
