Hudson’s Bay Co., the parent of Saks Fifth Avenue and the Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay, said Ed Record, its CFO, is leaving the company. The exit follows a deal to take the company private in March and the departure of its CEO, Helena Foulkesleft, soon thereafter.

Richard Baker, its executive chairman, took on the CEO role in addition to his existing responsibilities following Foulkesleft’s exit.

“Ed Record made the decision to step down from his role as HBC’s CFO. We will be hiring a new CFO for HBC, and Ed will remain in place until that individual is onboarded to ensure a smooth transition,” Hudson’s Bay said in a statement.
