To be celebrated at the upcoming fall sales meeting with a few cases of Santa Barbara pinot noir and a room full of smiles, Cammy Harris will take the reins at Horny Toad as their new General Manager of Wholesale.

In her new role, Harris will be charged with development of new dealer relationships, broadening of existing dealer partnerships, and execution of Horny Toad’s national wholesale strategy.

Harris will bring to the role experience from all levels and in all areas of the outdoor specialty marketplace, including product design and management, international sourcing, offshore manufacturing, and hands-on sales. Harris’ rich background in the outdoor specialty marketplace is oriented around a core strength in product and fabric development and merchandising– a skill which nicely complements a Horny Toad design team known for its creative, custom fabric blends.

“Cammy has the mind of a designer and the product and merchandising expertise of a national sales director,” said Gordon Seabury, Horny Toad president. “She will be a terrific spokesperson for our product and brand direction, and an invaluable in translating market feedback into internal action.”

Prior to joining Horny Toad, Harris was the Mountain Hardwear apparel product manager. Previous professional experience includes work as Sierra Designs apparel merchandise director; Wild Roses (Outdoor Research) product and sales manager; and as an independent sales representative for both Outdoor Research and The North Face, covering the Rocky Mountain Region. Her extensive experience in retail also includes being a soft goods buyer for Pine Needle Mountaineering.
