Hornady Manufacturing has promoted Everett Deger to the position of Marketing Communications Manager.


Deger is a Nebraska native who holds an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from Southeast Community College in Milford, NE and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE


Prior to working at Hornady, Deger was a Commissioned Officer with the Nebraska Army National Guard, where he served on active duty as the State Weapons and Marksmanship Officer. He was in charge of coordinating the State's competitive shooting program and statewide marksmanship championship. A veteran of the war in Iraq, Deger served with the Nebraska National Guard for eight years, and is a recipient of the Bronze Star for actions during his combat tour.


Deger has been with Hornady for two years and will be responsible for managing all communications, including writer & press relations, as well as directing photo shoots, planning media presentations and coordinating promotional events. Deger will also manage the creative aspects of Hornady corporate communications, including print, packaging, point-of-sale and advertising materials.
