Lever Style Corporation, a Hong Kong-based apparel manufacturer, has acquired Active Apparel Group (AAG), an Australian-based manufacturer of activewear, outerwear and swimwear.

Lever Style reported that the initial purchase price was U.S. $13 million and that the acquisition “expands its capabilities in activewear, its ‘fastest-growing’ area in apparel.”

Founded in 1987, AAG is a production partner for technical and lifestyle apparel brands, including Greyson, Johnnie-O, Sun Day Red, Boggi, and Bandit Running.

The acquisition is also said to “complement Lever Style’s existing strength in fashion apparel.”

Lever Style has a strong foundation in activewear and performance apparel, serving global brands such as Arc’teryx, Columbia Sportswear, Helly Hansen, Spanx, Skims, and J.Lindeberg. The company also works with a broad portfolio of premium and contemporary brands, including Alexander Wang, Theory, Todd Snyder, and others, as well as digitally native brands Bonobos and Ministry of Supply.

The company further said the acquisition offers “cross-selling opportunities and enhances its operating leverage.”

In a business update, Lever Style stated, “With the U.S. market challenged by tariffs and Europe’s economy still sluggish, 2025 has become the most challenging year for the Group since COVID. Given the increasing risk of tariff-induced U.S. recession in 2026, the Group has further tightened credit controls, significantly reducing business volumes with the Group’s two largest customers from 2024 due to credit concerns. As such, 2025 will represent a step back from the consecutive robust growing business trend in recent years.”
