Hoka promoted Antoine Berthoud, the brand’s former EMEA senior events & brand experience manager, to EMEA sports marketing director.

Berthoud, who started working at Hoka as a freelancer in 2013, will now oversee the brand sports event portfolio and consumer activations in the region. Hoka was founded in 2009 in France and was fully acquired by Deckers Brands in April 2013 after an initial minority stake was purchased in 2012.

Berthoud said on LinkedIn, “14 years ago, I joined HOKA as an intern. Today, I’m taking the next step as EMEA Sports Marketing Director at Hoka

“From a start-up selling a few thousand pairs to a global company leading the industry, what started as a first step became such a big part of my life and career—filled with learning, challenges, mistakes, wins, and, above all, incredible people, projects and experiences.
“I’m deeply grateful to everyone who trusted me, challenged me, empowered me, supported me, and opened doors along the way. Thank You.

“I’m still learning, still as passionate as on Day 1, and more excited than ever for what is coming!

“Let’s Fly.”
