Hillsound Equipment, the maker of winter and fishing footwear traction and gaiters, added fly fishing guide, Camille Egdorf, to the brands ambassador team.

Originally from a small town in Montana, nestled on the banks of the Big Horn River, Egdorfs love of fishing began at an early age. Every summer she migrated to Alaska with her family to help operate a guided trout camp, located on the Nushagak River in Bristol Bay.

After turning 18, Egdorf began her career in guiding. In the years after, she followed her quest for the big one by traveling to fish in other areas of the world including Brazils jungle in search of Peacock Bass and the Pacifics Christmas Island for Bonefish.  Egdorf currently lives in Bozeman, MT and guides for Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures.

Fly fishing has always been a huge part of my life, said Egdorf. Here in Montana our rivers are plagued with large rocks covered in slippery moss. Im always struggling with staying on my feet and inevitably fall at some point during the day. I can honestly say that Hillsounds FreeSteps6 cured that problem and I was able to wade wherever I wanted! I wont go anywhere without these in my day bag from now on!

We are so excited to have such a talented angler on our team, said Hillsound Marketing Director Jessica Greinke. Camille is an adventurer who is passionate and dedicated to her sport. She truly lives life to the fullest.

Tested by top fishing guides in British Columbia, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and Minnesota, the FreeSteps6 offer secure footing on steep muddy banks and slick rocks in still or moving water. The traction device provides an eco-friendly, easy-on-and-off river crampon that is lightweight and ergonomically designed. Its durability and extremely competitive price makes it a top choice for fishing enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers.
