Hilleberg the Tentmaker will return as a major sponsor for the third consecutive year at TrailsFest, a hands-on outdoor recreation festival near Seattle.

Outdoor Research, REI, Clif Bar, Egan & Associates LLC, and Bay Street Publishing are also confirmed sponsors for TrailsFest 2008.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, TrailsFest takes place on July 19 outside Seattle, Washington. More than 2,500 attendees are expect to attend the event, which features a hike, climbing a rock wall or paddling a kayak.

The outdoor extravaganza features clinics for all levels of outdoor skill and interest, on everything from predicting ountain weather to ultralite hiking.

“TrailsFest gets people outside, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors in a way that is sure to bring them back for more,” said Elizabeth Lunney, executive director of Washington Trails Association, presenters of TrailsFest. “We're excited about our partnership with Hilleberg because they exemplify quality in their products, and share in the avid enthusiasm for the outdoors that TrailsFest is all about.”

In addition to hands-on outdoor fun and informative clinics, over 50 sponsors and exhibitors will be on hand at TrailsFest. These gear companies and outdoor groups will visit directly with the thousands of attendees and share expertise.

“Hilleberg the Tentmaker is honored to again be a major sponsor of TrailsFest in 2008,” said Petra Hilleberg, president of Hilleberg the Tentmaker, Inc. “Washington Trails Association has a long history of trail activism, and through its annual TrailsFest has been at the forefront in celebrating-and making accessible-the joy of the human-powered outdoor experience.”

Past TrailsFest sponsors include Hilleberg the Tentmaker, Timberland, Green Trails Maps, Helly Hansen, Thorlos, Tecnica, Leki, Therm-A-Rest, Backpacker, Gregory, and Chaco.
