Dave Haessly, director of distribution at Hibbett Sports, will participate in a panel discussion on inbound transportation for retailers at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ (CSCMP) Annual Global Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, September 30-October 3, 2012. CSCMP’s Annual Global Conference brings together more than 3,000 practitioners and thought leaders from 40-plus countries for cutting edge education, research and networking.

The panel discussion, entitled Planning Inbound Transportation for Maximum Benefit, will occur October 2 from 1-2:30 p.m. in room B310 and be lead by Stephen Craig, managing partner and transportation industry expert for enVista, a leading enterprise and supply chain consulting services firm. Also participating on the panel is Fred Anderson, director of corporate logistics at Dillard’s, Rick Schart, vice president of supply chain at Stein Mart.

“This is a great opportunity for the audience to understand how leading retailers view the inbound challenges and opportunities, what the drivers are and what is coming down the pike,” said Craig. “Attendees will hear what these leading retailers are doing to drive savings and will leave with real-world improvement opportunities that they will be able to implement at their own companies.”
