Hi-Tec Sports will relocate its global headquarters from the United Kingdom to Amsterdam, The Netherlands this Spring 2011 as part of its global expansion plans. In October, Hi-Tec announced it will move US headquarters from Modesto, CA to Portland, OR.

Hi-Tec’s new 24,000-square-foot global headquarters will house the entire Global Product Development, Design, Marketing, Finance and Executive Management teams. The company moved into its new, US headquarters this month in a renovated space near the vibrant Pearl District in downtown Portland, OR.
 
These relocations highlight sizeable investments by Hi-Tec in the brand, products and talent. Chosen for their livability, proximity to outdoor recreation, and creative resources, Amsterdam and Portland are now home to a growing Hi-Tec team.
 
Recent additions to the Hi-Tec team include Charles Willis, creative director, who brings 15 years of experience from Merrell. A new North American executive management team includes Dennis Hochwender, outdoor product drector; Kirk Nichols, VP of saes; and Erika Bruhn, director of marketing. Combined they bring decades of combined experience at well-established brands including Columbia Sportswear, KEEN Footwear, Danner, and LaCrosse.
 
Hi-Tec Sports successfully launched its first apparel collection in Fall/Winter 2010.  This month at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, Utah, and at ISPO in Munich, Germany, Hi-Tec will unveil its new Infinity collection for trail running and adventure racing,
new insulated boots and updates to its new apparel collection.
