Helly Hansen, the Norwegian outerwear maker owned by Kontoor Brands, opened its first owned store in Germany in the city of Munich.

The store is located at Sendlinger Straße 35 in Munich’s city center.

“Munich embodies much of what Helly Hansen stands for: its proximity to mountains and lakes, its passion for outdoor activities, and its high standards for quality and functionality. At the same time, the city is a vibrant urban center – and it is precisely there that our technically sophisticated yet stylish parkas, as well as our rain jackets and coats from our lifestyle collection, truly shine,” said Michael Uhl, General Manager DACH at Helly Hansen. “With our own store, we are creating a space where customers can experience the brand in all its diversity – from innovative technologies to the stories behind our products.”

As of January 3, 2026, Kontoor Brands had 60 company-operated full-price Wrangler, Lee, Helly Hansen and Musto branded retail stores, which are located in Asia, Canada, Europe and the U.S. They include mono-brand stores, which carry Wrangler, Lee, Helly Hansen or Musto branded products, and dual-brand stores, which carry a mix of its Wrangler and Lee branded products. It also had 72 company-operated outlet and clearance centers as of January 3, 2026, primarily in the U.S.

In the U.S., Helly Hansen has three full-price stores in Colorado in Denver, Boulder and Breckenridge; and one each in Park City, UT and Annapolis, MD.
