The Housewares Division of Helen of Troy Ltd., which includes OXO and Hydro Flask, announced the promotion of Phyllis Grove to the newly created divisional role of senior vice president of marketing.

Prior to this promotion, Grove served as VP of marketing and e-commerce at Hydro Flask for the last five years. In her expanded position, Grove will add the OXO brand to her responsibilities and use her consumer goods experience to strengthen the marketing approach and implementation across the division.

“Phyllis has been a changemaker for the Hydro Flask brand since day one,” said Larry Witt, president of the Housewares Division. “Her ability to lead high-performing teams and understand consumer trends will positively impact the way we operate across the division.”

Grove brings over three decades of brand marketing and leadership experience to the role. She will report to Witt and will continue to be based out of Helen of Troy’s Housewares division office in Bend, OR.

Prior to joining Hydro Flask and Helen of Troy, Grove worked in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, food, consumer electronics, and natural products. She built her strategic marketing foundation at Procter & Gamble and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream. Her other functional roles include leading product management and heading a business team at Kensington Technology Group. Grove has also served on the Outdoor Industry Association Board of Directors since 2018 and is currently its first vice-chair and Nominating & Governance Committee Chair.
