Headsweats, a leader in performance headwear, announced its 2018 Ambassador Team. Thirty-five outstanding athletes were selected from over 500 applications based upon their personal and athletic accomplishments within their sport. The roster includes 27 new and 8 returning athletes from across the United States, Canada, and Europe who compete in a variety of endurance and multisport events.

This year’s diverse Ambassador roster includes notable athletes such as Corey Bellemore, the world record holder for the Beer Mile; Ashley Brasovan, Olympic marathon qualifier; Dzifa Glyman, Team USA Fly Fishing Angler; and Margaret Schlachter, the world’s first professional female obstacle course racer.

Headsweats is also excited to welcome back returning ambassadors such as Lyndy Davis, a Marathon Olympic Qualifier for 2020; Scott Wesemann, current record holder for most consecutive summits of Mount Timpanogos; and Nadia Ruiz, the world’s youngest Latina to complete 100 marathons. This group of athletes will represent Headsweats while training and racing around the world, and through sharing their experiences via their social media channels and blogs. Headsweats Ambassadors will also play an integral role in testing and supplying feedback for future products and designs.

“We see our ambassadors as a true extension of the team,” says Headsweats President Mike McQueeney. “They embody the active lifestyle Headsweats was founded on. We’re thrilled to support and outfit them through their training and racing. We value their feedback on the functionality of our products.”
