Headsweats promoted Julie Oldfield to the newly created position of director of sales and marketing.

Oldfield, who has been at Headsweats since 2012, will be responsible for leading all marketing and public relations efforts as well as managing six in-house account managers, international distributors and more than 200 custom headwear accounts across the western US.

“I could not be more proud of Julie’s commitment and contributions to Headsweats over the last 5 years,” says Headsweats President Mike McQueeney. “As we continue to grow and progress, we are able to look internally to elevate key personnel. Julie has spent the last 2 years in London developing much of our international business while also managing marketing initiatives. She has a proven track record of success and will have a phenomenal team in place working to support her in this new role.”

Prior to joining Headsweats, Oldfield began her career as a PGA Golf Professional, working at prestigious golf courses across the country as both Teaching Professional and Director of Retail.

From there, she moved on to become market leader for Crocs and national sales manager for Imperial Headwear.
