Dominic Hasek will be bringing more than his goalie mask when he returns to the Detroit Redwings after a one-year retirement that didn’t take.

Seems the All-Star goalie will move his apparel company, Dominator Clothing, to the Detroit area as well. North America operations for the firm are currently based in Alberta Canada. The clothing launched five years ago had sales of $2 million last year according to Dale Johnson, CEO of Dominator.

The company will also reportedly open two retail stores in the Detroit area this fall. According to comments made by Johnson in the Detroit paper, the line has primarily sold in Hasek’s chain of sporting goods stores in his native Czech Republic and other stores in Germany and Poland.

Johnson said the company also is considering opening stores in the Buffalo area, where Hasek starred for the Buffalo Sabres in 1992-2001.
