H&M announced a larger shoe range for men, women, teenagers and children, which will be available in the autumn in nine countries and online shops.

Karl-Johan Persson, chief executive officer, commented on the footwear line during the presention of the company's financial results, acceding to Fashion United: “The new shoe concept will offer a variety of models in different price categories, all at H&M prices.”

He added, “This is a part of our long-term investments which also includes investments in online, IT and our new brands.”
