Haiku by Sharon Eisenhauer, creator of poetically functional accessories for women, is proud to announce the Sales Rep of the Season Awards to Jodee Manfred of the Rockies territory and Kate Alexander of Alaska. The awards were presented at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, UT earlier this year.
Manfred was honored by Haiku for having the highest total sales for the fall 2011 season and Alexander achieved the highest increase in sales based on the fall 2011 season over the fall 2010 season, as well as having the highest dealer retention rate.
Manfred (WY, UT, CO, NM) joined the Haiku team at the company’s first Outdoor Retailer show in the winter of 2007. In addition to the Haiku line, Manfred is a charismatic representative for Pistil hats, Toes on the Nose, Twist, Skhoop and Tarma. Of the accolades Manfred responded, “I am honored to be one of Haiku’s first reps and it has been so much fun to witness how the line has evolved over the years. Sharon’s design, the happy colors and functional styles make Haiku a pleasure to represent and easy to sell. Sharon really thinks of everything when designing a bag useful for women.”
Kate Alexander has been an enthusiastic rep for the Haiku line since the spring of 2011 when she left her digs in Seattle and landed in Alaska where she now manages a specialty store, the Sport Shop, in addition to exclusively repping Haiku and sub repping for Naish standup paddleboards in the state.
“I am delighted to represent such a functional brand that has been wrapped up in a fun, happy and colorful presentation,” says Alexander. “Repping Haiku lets me share this cheerfulness with my dealers, both old and new. Haiku always puts a smile on their faces, and after all, isn’t it all about the smiles?”
The bright new Haiku line for spring 2012 has recently launched online and at outdoor retailers nationwide, with brand new styles including the Pouch (MSRP $49), Grab Bag (MSRP $58), and Hobo (MSRP $84). All Haiku bags are made with 100% cyclePET fabric and are designed to be feminine, functional and to last for good.
