Haiku by Sharon Eisenhauer, Inc., which makes bags and other accessories for women, has added Eva Farah and Jenn Knaus, to its growing internal team.

“I am thrilled to have Jenn and Eva on board at Haiku,” said Sharon Eisenhauer, founder and CEO.  “They are both such a perfect fit for us culturally and bring a tremendously great energy and enthusiasm to our team.  This is such an excellent way for us to kick off 2012!”

Eva Farah will be heading up Haiku customer service efforts, offering internal support to the sales team and the growing web business.  Farah is passionate about environmental conservation, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Hilo.  When not at work she continues her community efforts as an intern with Bay Localize, a local Bay Area community resource builder.

“I am so excited to join the Haiku team!  It is such a great group of people; Sharon is inspiring, and it is so satisfying to work for an independent and environmentally conscientious brand.”

Jenn Knaus comes to Haiku with a background in marketing coordination and logistics management for the lifestyle brand Horny Toad Activewear, and has experience in the outdoor retail, wholesale and independent rep arenas.  When not geeking out in an Excel spread sheet, she enjoys hiking all of the trails, exploring her new Berkeley neighborhood and practicing new recipes.

“The Haiku brand impressively blends unique and feminine patterns with super-functional designs, Knaus said. “I love the design philosophy and the commitment to the cyclePET fabric. Honestly, I am more than excited about where the brand is going and being a part of such an enthusiastic team.”

Haiku is excited to expand on its feminine, functional and eco-friendly product offering from Spring 2012, and will premier several new silhouettes during Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City Jan. 19-22, 2012.
