U.K.-based activewear brand Gymshark plans to open its first U.S. flagship store in Manhattan on December 13 at 11 Bond Street in the Noho district.

Spanning three floors, the store will measure 13,000 square feet when open. The city’s heritage of neighborhood and community is reflected in the floor plan’s color scheme, “Liberty Green.” In a nod to the Financial District, there are ticker displays showing the latest news, offers and updates. The cash registers are housed in subway cars. A “pizza weight plate” pays homage to New York City’s pizzerias.

The store will also sell a “bespoke bodegas” range exclusive to the location, with mannequins showing 3D prints of Gymshark members and athletes. The company’s 1-2-1 shopping service will also be available, where “aspiring lifters and athletes can ask for help in selecting the best workout gear to achieve their fitness goals.”

The third floor includes a dedicated space for community talks, athlete meet-and-greets, live podcasts, and Q&A sessions.

The opening follows the debut of Gymshark’s first permanent U.S. store in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY, in November. In 2024, the brand opened its U.S. headquarters in New York City.

Gymshark’s Retail and Wholesale director for North America, Mitch Healey, stated, “I don’t think any city in the world places as much importance on community quite like New York. So, when it came to opening our flagship here, we really wanted to honour that. The store has really been designed with two things in mind. When you walk through the door, a) you know immediately that you are in a Gymshark store and b) you feel the community vibe that this city is so famous for.”
