GSI Outdoors has signed agreements with Künzi S.p.A. and Ravenoutdoor S.C. to distribute its outdoor cookware and tableware in Italy and Poland respectively.
Effective Jan. 1, 2014, the two new distributors will sell, market and support GSI Outdoors products in their respective countries. These new partners represent the latest in a series of moves over the past couple of years designed to extend GSI Outdoors’ footprint in European Union countries. The announcement was made by Don Scott, co-owner of GSI Outdoors.
In November 2011, the company retained the services of Andreas Ruhs to spearhead GSI Outdoors business interests in Europe and to add people and resources to accelerate sales and manage growth. These new European partners are two important results of his efforts and bring the total number of European distributors to 18. In early 2011, the company also opened a warehouse in the Netherlands to support their European distributors.
“All these moves represent an important continuation of our strategic global expansion plans,” commented Don. “Both Künzi and Ravenoutdoor are well established in their respective countries with many years experience in the outdoor market. We know that they will strengthen our stronghold in southern and Eastern Europe and help grow our business in these very sought-after markets.”
GSI Outdoors currently has agreements with EU distributors in Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia.
