Canada's Cycles Lambert will distribute cycling apparel in Canada for W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. W.L. gore has sold  the apparel line in Europe for eight years and introduced it in the United States in 2005.


Lambert will be the exclusive provider of GORE BIKE WEAR products in Canada, bringing Gore’s world-renowned brand to IBDs nationwide.

 

Sell-in will begin July 2008 with product hitting retail in February 2009.


Gore Bike Wear products have been sold in Europe for more than 24 years and been among the most popular brands there in the last eight years. 


GORE-TEX fabrics, WINDSTOPPER fabrics, and Gore Selected fabrics are all used in the line to provide tip-to-toe protection and skin-to-shell comfort.


“GORE BIKE WEAR brings more than just fashion to cyclists,” said Stephanie Monaco, Product Manager at Lambert. “With product lines that are dedicated to the acute needs of performance and ambitious cyclists as well a sheer focus on function and quality, Gore Bike Wear was the obvious choice.”


Lambert distributes over 15,000 parts and accessories to more than 1,500 retailers across the country. Lambert has offices in Quebec and British Columbia, and employs over 100 people.
