Golf’s largest family-owned component distributor, The Golfworks proudly announces that it has joined Lamkin Grip and Arnold Palmer in the fight against prostate cancer.

An honorary national chairman for the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), Palmer has been a staunch advocate for the fight against cancer and he has worked hard to enlist leading golf equipment companies for support. As a result, The Golfworks and Lamkin Grips are donating proceeds from every Lamkin grip purchased to help fund prostate cancer research, develop treatments and discover cures.

“All of us at The GolfWorks applaud the efforts of Arnold Palmer and Lamkin Grips in this worthy cause,” says co-CEO Al Bessin of The Golfworks. “Prostate cancer continues to be the second leading cause of cancer death in men, and we are happy to contribute a portion of all Lamkin Grip proceeds to help fund prostate cancer research.”

The Prostate Cancer Foundation is the world’s largest philanthropy supporting prostate cancer research. Founded in 1993, the PCF reaches out to private industry, patient advocacy groups and government research institutions and encourages collaboration, reduces bureaucracy and speeds the process of discovery. These partnerships provide a model to speed the cure for prostate cancer – and all cancers.
