Youth on Course, a non-profit organization designed to introduce youth to golf, appointed Chris Kuebrich, formerly Golftec’s SVP of Marketing, as its senior director of Marketing.

Kuebrich was at Golftec for 18 years and SVP of Marketing since January 2016. In his last role, he reported to Chris Koske, chief marketing officer.

During his tenure at Golftec, Kuebrich “Kuebrich drove several impactful initiatives, including the go-to-market strategy for OptiMotion, the company’s proprietary motion-capture technology. The launch contributed to GOLFTEC’s ranking #3 on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in Sports and secured broadcast integration with CBS’s PGA TOUR coverage. He also led the company’s digital transformation, launching its e-commerce business and establishing voice-of-the-customer systems designed to unify brand experience across all locations.”

Golftec has more than 250 locations in eight countries.

Kuebrich was also “instrumental in establishing the company’s charitable arm. GOLFTEC Cares has supported more than 1,000 national and local organizations since its inception, including PGA REACH, PGA HOPE, Drive Fore The Future, First Tee, Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy, and Black Girls Golf.”

Steve Martin, chief marketing officer of Youth on Course, said, “We are excited to welcome Chris as our senior director of Marketing. Chris is a marketing leader who understands how to scale brands while staying rooted in purpose. His experience scaling innovative programs, elevating storytelling and driving measurable growth in the golf industry will be instrumental as we continue expanding access to the game and growing our impact on the next generation.”

At Youth on Course, Kuebrich will lead marketing strategy, brand development and communications.

“I am excited to join the Youth on Course team,” said Kuebrich. “This organization is redefining what access to golf looks like for young people. The opportunity to help grow that mission and connect more kids to the game is both meaningful and inspiring.”

Since its inception in 2006, Youth on Course reports that “members have played more than 5 million subsidized rounds of golf for $5 or less at thousands of partner courses throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.”
