Lowerleft Designs, Ltd., the parent company of Gogglesoc, has acquired Phunkshun Wear, a maker of facewear and headwear from recycled fabrics.

Lowerleft Designs said the move unites the two brands’ commitment to sustainable design and outdoor culture. Gogglesoc is known for its recycled protective eyewear accessories, while Phunkshun Wear for its technical facewear. Both brands will operate under the Lowerleft umbrella.

A refreshed brand direction for Phunkshun Wear is slated for FW26/27.

“From day one, our mission with Gogglesoc has been to merge function, personality and sustainability in ways that resonate with the outdoor community,” said Co-Founder Josh Gray. “Phunkshun Wear brings that same energy, with products that are innovative, tested in the elements and deeply value driven. We’re stoked to welcome them into the Lowerleft family and excited about what’s ahead.”

Jason Badgley, founder of Phunkshun Wear, added: “We’ve always believed gear should be technical, sustainable, and built for good times in the mountains. Partnering with Lowerleft allows us to carry that vision further, with new resources and creative energy behind the brand. The relaunch of Phunkshun Wear in FW26/27 will be a chance to reintroduce our community to everything we’ve been building toward.”
