Crazy Creek Products is pleased to announce that John and Kim Elsberry of Red Lodge, MT have acquired the maker of outdoor comfort seating products.

As many are aware, Crazy Creek’s founder and president, Rob Hart, died in February 2009 in an unfortunate skiing accident. At that time, John Elsberry was brought in to serve as the company’s general manager – he previously worked at Crazy Creek and was familiar with the company’s products and operating systems. Since 2001, Mr. Elsberry has operated a successful business consulting company serving numerous businesses in the Red Lodge area.

“Kim and I are extremely excited about this opportunity,” said Elsberry. “I want to assure our loyal vendors that Crazy Creek will continue to be committed to its leadership position in the outdoor seating and comfort categories. We will be working actively to enhance our business operations and systems to enable us to serve all of our customers in the most efficient and supportive manner possible. For example, we will be maintaining stronger inventory levels of key products in order to ensure consistent, quick fulfillment of ASAP orders. We also plan to expand the capabilities of our outstanding logo personalization program. And, of course, Crazy Creek will continue to design and manufacture products of the highest quality.”

Rob Hart’s family expressed their approval of the deal.

“Considering the circumstances, this is a win-win for everyone involved,” said family member Doug Hart. “We were lucky to be able to offer the company to someone who has known Rob over the years. So in a small way we feel that we are keeping it in the ‘family’. But most importantly, we’re confident that Crazy Creek’s legacy in Red Lodge as well as its pioneering role in the outdoor industry is in very good hands.”

The company will keep its office and warehouse operations in Red Lodge along with its current staff of knowledgeable associates.
