Global Brand Marketing, Inc. announced the promotion of Andrew Tate to senior vice president of Global Product Development. Tate will oversee all aspects of product development for footwear for all of GBMI’s brands, as well as in footwear licensing in regions such as Africa, India, China, Argentina and Brazil.

Andy’s vast knowledge and experience can certainly attribute to GBMI’s success.”

Mr. Tate joined GBMI in early December 2001 with over twenty years of footwear industry experience specializing in product development. Prior to joining GBMI, Mr. Tate was category development director for Nike, Inc. and previously held several senior product development positions at Reebok International, Ltd.

Mr. Tate will be based in the corporate offices in Santa Barbara, CA, and reporting to CEO Killick Datta.
