Gander Mountain opened its newest stores in Eau Claire, Minn. and Ocala, FL. Tuesday and will celebrate grand openings for both large format stores May 30.
The 65,000-square foot Eau Claire store is located at 6440 Skully Drivein the new larger format similar to other stores recently opened by Gander Mountain. The format allows the store to offer canoes, kayaks, firearms, equipment for hunting, fishing, and archery, apparel and footwear, camping equipment, and gifts.
Store services include an on-site gunsmith, an archery lane and full-service archery shop and line winding.
The store also features a “Gander Mountain Lodge”, a meeting room provided free of charge for meetings of local outdoor groups. During the year Gander Mountain provides educational courses for outdoor enthusiasts in the Lodge and offers more hunter safety programs through its lodges than any other retailer in the United States.
The grand opening of the Eau Claire Gander Mountain store will begin on May 30.
The Ocala store is located at 3970 SW 3rd street. It is Gander Mountain's fifth in Florida, joining others in Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Palm Beach Gardens and St. Augustine.
At 66,200 square feet, it too uses the new larger format.
