Galway Bay, the manufacturer of rainwear for the golf industry, has entered the retail market through the digital commerce platform RepSpark. The timing coincides with the company’s 2023 product lineup in addition to seasonal drops of its current collection.

Galway Bay manufactures its proprietary waterproof technology rainwear in jackets, vests and tailored rain pants, selling them direct to consumers on its website. More recently, the company included layering pieces into its collection, including a quarter zip pullover, base layer crewneck and bottoms. Using RepSpark’s platform will provide additional avenues to reach golfers through new relationships with shops and retail markets beyond the sport.

“Through the years, Galway Bay has quietly grown into one of the most trusted and preferred rainwear brands in golf with a proven commitment to the finest lightweight waterproof construction with thoughtful design and ultimate comfort,” said CEO Bryan Finnerty. “With RepSpark we take the steps beyond word-of-mouth marketing and extreme brand loyalty and present this wildly underrated apparel brand to a whole new landscape of customers.”

Galway Bay’s bi-component technology, called Hydro-Flex 32, is a proprietary, three-layer, 100-percent waterproof fabric constructed with a hydrophilic interior to wick moisture away from the skin and transfer it to the outer layer. Galway Bay is the first rainwear brand to offer rain pants that fit like regular pants, with exact waist and inseam sizes.

Galway Bay is also partnering with green grass locations in 2022 outside of RepSpark.
