Galvin Green has appointed Matt Leemhuis as its new sales rep for the New York metro area and the Mid-Atlantic territory, as part of the brand’s effort to drive business across a key U.S. region known for its high concentration of Top 100 private golf and country clubs.
Leemhuis is the brand’s first full-time sales representative in the U.S. He reportedly brings more than 13 years of sales experience to the role. For the past 11 years, he was with Nike. At Nike, he managed top green grass and strategic regional accounts. He later worked with Jordan Brand and, most recently, in footwear and accessories sales for Foot Locker.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Leemhuis said he and his Nike NYC team serving the Foot Locker, Inc. business were given the option to relocate to Tampa or leave the company.
“In an effort to keep things stable and consistent for my family, I decided to leave Nike after 11 years,” he said. “At the time, I was gutted but also tremendously thankful for all the memories, learning opportunities, and friendships that will last a lifetime.”
He continued, “After a much-needed reset and some soul searching, I’m thrilled to be back in the golf business, representing Galvin Green as their first full-time NA Territory Sales Manager for the Northeast. As a team, we’ll look to strengthen our relationships at green grass, deliver exceptional service and bring world class consumer right product to our partners and their members.”
