G3, which manufactures backcountry skis, splitboards, bindings and ski accessories, has partnered for 2015 with guide associations, lodge operations, events and snow safety organizations that are committed to helping people enjoy backcountry mountain experiences.

G3 has strengthened its longtime partnership with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) and started a new partnership with the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA). G3’s Early Bird program offers innovative, durable, high-performance gear to all ACMG guides, and gives back a percentage of the sales to the Canadian Mountain and Ski Guide (CMSG) training program, which prepares people to become ACMG certified guides. Additionally, G3 will work closely with numerous guides, including ACMG certified guides Lars Andrews, Marc Piché, Ross Berg, and Ken Belanger, and AMGA examiners and technical testers Evan Stevens and Amos Whiting who provide invaluable product feedback and are ambassadors for G3 and the backcountry in everything they do.

G3 also supports the North West Avalanche Center (NWAC) and its mission “to save lives and reduce the impacts of avalanches on recreation, industry and transportation through mountain weather and avalanche forecasting, data collection and education.” G3 will be co-sponsoring one of NWAC’s largest fundraising events, Vertfest, the nation’s largest backcountry ski festival. Vertfest, which will take place March 21-22, 2015, offers on-snow clinics with topics covering photography, snow safety, backcountry travel, splitboarding and beacon use, as well as backcountry demos featuring a full lineup of G3 gear.

To inspire people to fully enjoy the backcountry, G3 will continue its longtime partnership with the Whitecap Alpine Lodge and begin a new partnership with Valhalla Mountain Touring. The two lodge operations offer unparalleled access to some of British Columbia’s best skiing. Whitecap Alpine Lodge, owned and operated by G3 Athlete Lars Andrews, offers epic backcountry experiences rivaling anywhere in the world for some of the best skiing on earth. Valhalla Mountain Touring, owned and operated by two of G3’s newest athletes, Evan Stevens and Jasmin Caton, offers legendary light and deep snow, paired with breathtaking alpine terrain – ideal conditions for getting into the backcountry. Both lodges have a fleet of G3’s performance boards and skis for the next generation of skiers and riders looking for the perfect line.

Also supporting innovation in the backcountry, G3 is pleased to announce a continued partnership with Backcountry Babes to encourage female participation in backcountry adventures. Backcountry Babes is dedicated to creating inspiring retreats for the body, mind and spirit. As a pioneer of women specific backcountry education, Backcountry Babes continually strives to develop high quality workshops that provide valuable education opportunities and empower women in all aspects of their lives. In partnering with the organization, G3 commits to empower and support women in the backcountry.

“G3 is proud to partner with some of North America’s most respected educational organizations, backcountry ski outfitters, and community events that help people safely navigate, explore and enjoy the winter backcountry,” said Oliver Steffen, Founder and President of G3. “G3 was founded on innovation, but beyond our commitment to making cutting edge, high quality products, our mission is to inspire people to enjoy spending time in the backcountry. The organizations, events and guide services we’ve joined forces with share G3’s mission and passion for quality backcountry experiences and we are excited to work with them in 2015 and beyond.”
