Frisco Running Co., based in Frisco, TX, recently closed after 12 years in operation.
The store, at 9359 Legacy Dr. #300A, closed at the end of August. The business was founded and owned by Jimmy Hart.
The owner announced the closure on social media.
The post read, “The time has come for us to say goodbye. To say this is difficult is an understatement, but after all these years of fun and running we find our lives moving in directions that no longer support our little shop. We love you all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support, and will never forget the things we did together.”
The store was associated with Frisco Running Club, but Morten Lileng, president, Frisco Running Club, issued a statement indicating the club remains active. He stated that the retailer and running club are “completely separate organizations” with the club operating independently for 15 years. He wrote, “We’re grateful for Frisco Running Co.‘s partnership and support over the years.”
