Fox River introduces its new women’s Wick Dry® Revolution snowboard sock. Designed by freeskier and passionate snowboarder Alison Gannett, the Revolution is a medium weight sock designed specifically to fit the shape of a women’s foot. The funky embroidered chix snowboarders (rendered by Gannett and artist Kate Seeley) on the calf, and knit-in daisy at the toe give the sock its flair. Wick Dry® construction keeps feet dry and blister free. Fox River’s merino wool and polypro blend dries 25% faster and is 3½ times more abrasion resistant than other merino socks.

“This sock puts padding and warmth where you need it, not where you don’t,” says Gannett. “I designed the sock to have a thick padded heel retainer and a form-fitted, elasticized heel retaining band to prevent heel lift and chafe, and a thick knit for padding on top of the foot to spread the binding pressure more evenly, which is repeated on the shin to prevent shin bang. A special, warmer knit keeps the tips of the toes warm, but changes to a super light yarn where the sixth toe area gets restricted. Function, fashion, and fit all rolled into one-a sock designed by girls who ride and want to look good doing it.”
