Fox Factory Holding Corp., the parent of Fox, Marucci, Method Race, and Wheels, appointed Douglas Grimm to its board as part of an agreement with activist investor Engine Capital L.P.
On February 8, Fox Factory established a Board-level Transformation Committee and entered into a cooperation agreement with Engine Capital. The agreement led Fox Factory to add Alan Bazaar, CEO and co-chief investment officer of Hollow Brook Wealth Management LLC., to its board with a second board member identified by Engine Capital to be added in the future.
Grimm is the owner and CEO of V-to-X, LLC, an advisor and investor in the mobility sector. He’s the former president and COO of Metaldyne Performance Group, an automotive metals supplier with 60 manufacturing plants. The board will nominate Grimm for election to the Board at the 2026 annual meeting of stockholders for a term expiring at the company’s 2029 annual meeting of stockholders.
Grimm will serve on the Fox Factory’s Board’s Audit Committee and Transformation Committee. With the addition, Fox Factory’s Board increases in size to nine directors.
