Michael R. Lambert, CA has joined The Forzani Group Ltd. as chief financial Officer. Lambert has had extensive experience in senior financial and executive management roles with a number of prominent Canadian organizations including Canadian Pacific Railway, George Weston Group of Companies, and the Southam Group of Companies. Lambert also has significant retail experience, having been the CFO of Mark's Work Wearhouse Ltd. and a member of its board of directors, and then later executive vice president of Canadian Tire Corporation and President of the Mark's Work Wearhouse division, following its acquisition by Canadian Tire.

Also announced is an expanded role for Richard Burnet as senior vice president of administration. In addition to his current responsibilities of overseeing financial management of the business, Burnet will be responsible for Information Technology and Loss Prevention, two key areas for the organization. During his tenure with company, Richard has been a key contributor to the development of the business and its growth strategy. “Richard continues to demonstrate his commitment and value to this organization,” said Sartor. “We look forward to his continued success in his new role.”
