Mike McMullen, Yeti’s former CFO, has joined Austin, TX-based jeweler Kendra Scott Design, Inc. as CFO.
On February 19, Yeti announced that Scott Bomar, former SVP of Finance at the Home Depot, would become SVP, CFO and Treasurer, effective February 23. On that date, McMullen ceased serving as Yeti’s CFO and was expected to serve in an advisory capacity until May 31, 2026, to facilitate a smooth transition.
McMullen had served as Yeti’s CFO for three years. He previously served as VP of Finance for the drinkware and coolers brand. During his tenure, Yeti launched a successful IPO and significantly expanded its international and direct-to-consumer operations, according to a media release from Kendra Scott.
“Mike understands how to scale a business driven by a customer-first mission and has experience in driving meaningful transformations,” said Chris Blakeslee, CEO at Kendra Scott and formerly Athleta’s CEO. “With leadership experience shaping and growing household brands, he brings the financial acumen and business-building mindset we need as we expand into new categories and pursue global growth. We’re excited for the leadership he will bring as we continue building the House of Kendra Scott.”
“Kendra has built a world where community is at the heart of everything, anchored by the brand pillars of Family, Fashion and Philanthropy,” said McMullen. “I am thrilled to join the team and help build value across the enterprise, ushering in the company’s next chapter of growth, influence and impact.”
