Footbalance, the maker of custom footbeds, hired Waypoint Outdoor as its northwest rep team. Waypoint Outdoor has been a leading outdoor sales agency since 2008. Based in Seattle, Waypoint Outdoor also currently represents Arc’teryx, KEEN, Suunto, Vaque, Nemo and Solio.

Working directly with the Footbalance team is sales rep Michael Stevens, who has been with Jim Purdy and Bob Holding of Waypoint Outdoor for eight years, working with outdoor and footwear accounts. Prior to working with Waypoint, Stevens spent 15 years working with Nordstrom, Gear.com and HS Trask.

“I’m excited about Footbalance, as it’s a terrific product for both the retailer and the consumer. The retailer can use the Footbalance system to engage their customers, provide a differentiating service, and efficiently mold custom footbeds for their customers,” said Stevens. “The end user – from the athlete to the casual everyday walker – will leave that retailer with custom-molded footbeds that provide great support specific to each foot and also a better understanding about their body and alignment.”

“Partnering with Waypoint Outdoor is important to Footbalance,” says Footbalance’s North American President and Business Manager Matt Kaplan. “With such extensive experience in footwear and the outdoors, Michael and Waypoint are a dynamic sales team for our unique system.”
