Five Iron Golf announced the opening of a new flagship store in Coral Gables, marking the brand’s entry into Florida and its largest U.S. location to date.
The 30,000-square-foot space, located at The Plaza Coral Gables, includes 12 Trackman-powered simulators, instruction affiliated with the Jim McLean Golf School, custom club fitting powered by Callaway Tour Fitting, league play, and year-round access to simulated iconic golf courses.
“Florida has long been one of the most important golf markets in the country, making Coral Gables a natural fit for Five Iron’s continued growth,” said Jared Solomon, co-founder and CEO. “We’re excited to bring a new way to experience the game to South Florida — one that combines serious game improvement, technology, instruction, and community in a format that makes golf more accessible and engaging for everyone.”
“We’ve seen tremendous demand for flexible, technology-enabled golf experiences that complement traditional golf rather than replace it,” said Peter McCormick, owner and developer of Five Iron Golf Coral Gables. “The response from the community during opening week reinforced what we believed from the beginning — that golfers are looking for more ways to practice, improve, compete, and spend time around the game.”
Five Iron Golf, backed by North Castle Partners, Callaway Golf and Danny Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Investments, operates 40 locations across 20 states and 7 countries.
