Fitness Holdings North America, the largest and fastest-growing Crunch Fitness franchise group nationwide, has signed its second Connecticut lease, bringing the brand’s third Crunch Fitness gym in the state to Torrington.
Crunch Fitness Torrington will open in summer 2026. The 30,000-plus-square-foot flagship will feature the brand’s next-generation 3.0 design.
The company reported that this latest expansion is intended to “reinforce [Fitness Holdings] aggressive growth strategy in Connecticut, with 10 additional locations actively under development throughout the state.”
“Signing our second Connecticut lease, with 10 more in the pipeline, is a major statement about the demand for high-quality fitness in this region,” said Mark Federico, CEO of Fitness Holdings North America. “This Torrington club will bring an elevated fitness offering to Litchfield County and marks another milestone as we continue expanding across the Northeast. Here We GROW again.”
Fitness Holdings North America operates Crunch Fitness clubs in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Tennessee, Georgia, and Connecticut.
