Bob Morrison, who spent 50 years in the shooting sports industry through his retirement as president and CEO of Taurus International Manufacturing, has passed away.
Morrison also held positions at Smith & Wesson, Colt, U.S. Repeating Arms, and Bianchi Holsters. He retired from Taurus in 2011.
Morrison was a 2024 inductee into the NSSF Hall of Fame.
NSSF said at the time, “Bob Morrison’s career in the firearm industry was marked by longevity and his tenure as CEO/President of Taurus International Manufacturing. At Taurus, he energized the company through a series of innovative product introductions. Morrison spearheaded a strategic partnership with the National Rifle Association that boosted participation in the shooting sports, while also working directly with industry leaders as an NSSF board member.”
Morrison was also a recipient of the NSSF’s Ken Sedlecky Lifetime Achievement Award.
