Filson’s parent company, Bedrock Manufacturing Co, has appointed Michele Santana as its chief financial officer.

Santana brings to Bedrock, the parent company of Filson and Shinola and Filson, over two decades of executive leadership in finance, strategy and compliance,  having recently served as CFO of Majestic Steel.

Prior to Majestic, Santana was the CFO for Signet Jewelers, a publicly-traded company operating nine retail brands throughout its 3500 stores, including Kay Jewelers, Jared, Zale’s. Before that, she worked in public accounting for KPMG for nearly 15 years.

Santana will report to Mark Light, executive chairman of Bedrock’s board of directors. “Michele compliments our strong performance-based culture, is results-oriented and is exactly what we need to lead us to sustained long-term growth,” Light said.

“I am very excited to join the Bedrock team,” Santana said.  “I believe the potential for growth and value creation is tremendous given the talent and passion of the Shinola and Filson team coupled with the significant brand building opportunity ahead of us. I am confident we can develop and execute plans to drive consistent sustainable growth in the future.”

Santana is currently on the board of directors for Transdigm, Inc. a global producer, designer and supplier of aerospace components and systems and chair of its board.
