Filson will be expanding efforts behind its lifestyle collections with the appointment of Jonathan Bergman as director of sales.  In his new post, Bergman will report directly to Filson’s National Sales Manager Dan Drust, focusing expansion of Filson Black, the brand’s lifestyle offering with creative direction from Richard Chai. As a fashion industry veteran with more than 12 years of international sales experience, Bergman will help build the collection’s presence among better men’s and women’s retailers.

“While we will remain rooted in our outdoor heritage, we are excited to support Filson’s growing rugged casual product offering,” said Mark Korros, president and CEO of Filson. “Jon has an impressive track record and trusted reputation with our emerging customer base. He will be instrumental in expanding our presence among upscale fashion retailers that will help connect Filson with a new generation of customers.”

Most recently, Bergman was the director of sales, U.S and Canada, at Façonnable Jeans. Previously, Bergman notably spent two and a half years as the director of sales for the apparel division at K•Swiss USA, where he was instrumental in the company’s rapid expansion in the lifestyle and performance channels. Other sales experience in the fashion industry includes director and account management roles at: Elie Tahari, Hugo Boss USA, Badgley Mischka, and Cole Haan.
