Andrea Greco has been named vice president and COO for
Fila USA. Greco, 39, rejoins Fila USA where he was the company’s VP of supply chain from 2001 to 2005. Most recently, Greco was VP of global sourcing for EDS, a leading IT outsourcing company based in Plano, Texas.

Greco’s experience also includes Operations and Supply Chain consulting for Ernst and Young in Italy and the U.S. and for IQXpert, a strategic sourcing software company. He obtained a business degree from Bocconi University in Milan and a Masters of Science in Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Business.

In his new role as COO, Greco will oversee the company’s operations including inbound and outbound logistics, customs compliance and information technology. He will also be responsible for distribution and facilities including the company’s U.S. warehouse in Brandon Woods, Md.

Greco will be based out of Fila’s New York office and Sparks, Md. headquarters and will report to Mr. Cho. He joins Jon Epstein, Fila USA president and Bruce Fendell, VP footwear and apparel Sales as the newest members of Fila USA’s senior management team.

In announcing the appointment of Mr. Greco as Chief Operating Officer, Fila President Y.C. Cho stated, “We are very pleased that Andrea Greco has decided to join Fila to fill this most important role. His extensive experience and capabilities in all operations areas will be extremely valuable as we rebuild the Fila brand.”
