Field & Stream plans to hold grand opening celebrations the weekend
of Sept. 5 through Sept. 7 for stores in Cary, NC  and Columbus, OH. With the openings, Field & Stream, owned by Dick's Sporting Goods, will have six stores.

Its
new store in Cary, NC is located at Parkside Town Commons (1048
Parkside Main Street). Its new store in Columbus, OH is at Easton
Gateway (4280 Easton Gateway Drive).

At both locations during the weekend, children (ages 6 to 15) are invited to participate in the Field
& Stream Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge on Saturday,
September 6th from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Participants will test their
skills in archery, casting and tent building. Winners with the best
combined score across all three events in each age group will receive a
trophy and a $250 Field & Stream gift card. First runner-ups will
receive a $100 Field & Stream gift card.

The first 100 participants to register for the Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge will receive a complimentary T-shirt.

Several
special guests will make in-store appearances during the grand opening,
including former University of North Carolina basketball player
Eric Montross from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and father and son
NASCAR duo Bill and Chase Elliott from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on
Sunday at the Cary store.

At the Columbus store, special guests include former Ohio State University running back Beanie Wells from 4:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and A&E's “Duck Dynasty” star Jep Robertson
from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
