Field & Stream, the newer specialty store recently launched by Dicks Sporting Goods, announced grand opening plans for four stores. The stores are located in: Horseheads, NY; Altoona, PA; Rochester, NY; and Miamisburg, OH.
The grand openings for all the locations run from Friday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 12.
The store in Horseheads, NY is located at Big Flats Consumer Square (830 County Route 64). The one in Altoona, PA is located at Sierra North Plaza (141 Sierra Drive). The Rochester, NY store is at Marketplace Mall (1200 Miracle Mile Drive). The Miamisburg, OH store is at Austin Landing (10351 Innovation Drive).
At the openings, children ages 6 to 15 are invited to participate in the Field & Stream Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge on Saturday, October 11th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants will test their skills in archery, casting and tent building. Winners will receive prizes, including Field & Stream gift cards.

Horseheads: Tom Oar, one of the stars of History Channel’s “Mountain Men” television show, and father-and-son NASCAR duo Bill and Chase Elliott.
Altoona: Jep Robertson, star of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty”, and Doug Drabek, outdoorsman and former pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Rochester: Outdoorsman and former Buffalo Bill, Bruce Smith and Liz & Justin, as seen on the television series “Swamp People.”
Miamisburg: Outdoorsman and Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert and NASCAR star Matt Kenseth.
