The Feetures! performance sock brand has reorganized its sales leadership structure, effective Dec. 1, 2012. Hugh Gaither, president, will continue in his role as national sales manager. Two new regional sales positions have been created, reporting directly to Gaither. The new western regional sales manager will be Joe Gaither. The new eastern regional sales manager will be Dan Gardner, a key sales veteran who is new to the Feetures! brand, but certainly not new to the industry.
This change was made necessary due to the rapid growth the brand has experienced. “Our continued focus on perfecting performance socks and building retailer relationships has resulted in tremendous growth,” said Hugh Gaither. “This is an exciting step for our brand,” he said, “the addition of Joe Gaither and Dan Gardner to our sales leadership team allows us to better serve the needs of our retailers while providing our sales force with clear direction, guidance and support.”
Dan Gardner, who has over a decade of industry sales experience, was most recently with Nathan hydration and accessory products, where he served as the brand and growth manager. He worked extensively with Nathan’s independent sales reps in helping achieve double-digit growth for the Nathan brand. “I am thrilled at the opportunity to continue working in an industry I love,” said Gardner, “and becoming part of the Feetures! team, a respected company which is focused on building sales and supporting retailer relationships in authentic and meaningful ways.”
Joe Gaither joined the company in 2009 as Director of Brand Building. He has led national grassroots marketing initiatives as well as providing retailers support at the store level, efforts that have resulted in significant growth for the brand.
“I remain grateful to work with my family and for a brand I believe in,” said Joe Gaither. “I look forward to my new role and the opportunity to work with Dan Gardner. Having Dan on board will strengthen the impact we’re able to make at retail and will lay the foundation for our continued growth for years to come.”
Both Joe Gaither and Dan Gardner will be located at the company headquarters which is in Conover, NC. The Feetures! brand mission is to support runners and other athletes in their pursuit of healthy, active lifestyles.
