Demand for New York Knicks championship merchandise reached record levels on Fanatics.com following the team’s first NBA title since 1973. The Knicks clinched the title by beating the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday night, June 13, to win the series 4-1.

Immediately following the team’s win, Fanatics released over 300 Championship-branded products across apparel, hard goods and memorabilia. Per Fanatics, it logged over 8,000 orders per minute when it offered Championship-branded products direct-to-consumer, breaking a record across sporting events. The closest runner-up in terms of merchandise sales was the Philadelphia Eagles, which generated 5,500 orders per minute in the 24-hour timespan after beating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in 2025.

Among the highest-selling items were the Fanatics 2026 NBA Finals Champions Roster Trophy T-shirt ($42), the New Era Champions Locker Room 9Fifty Snapback Hat ($46), a Mitchell & Ness Champions T-shirt ($45), a Nike Unisex NBA Finals Champions T-shirt ($45), and a Mitchell & Ness Champions Gold Coffee Cup T-shirt ($50).

Among players’ jerseys, Jalen Brunson, the series MVP, was the most popular item on the site. He scored 45 points in the final and led the team to several turnaround victories during the title run.

Some of the more unique items sold included a Knicks NBA Finals champion Swarovski crystal leather jacket for $10,000 and a “Seinfeld”- inspired “Summer of the Knicks” T-shirt featuring a shirtless George Costanza wearing Knicks shorts for $42. Championship offerings also include licensed collaborations with The Simpsons, Wu-Tang, Fall Out Boy, and The Grateful Dead.

Sales of Knicks championship gear have more than doubled that of Fanatics’ previous “best-selling” NBA Finals champion, the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers, led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The Knicks are also on pace to become the top championship team in Fanatics history for total sales, surpassing the record set when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2016.

By region, the most popular location for Knicks merchandise on Fanatics.com is the New York Metro area, followed by Florida.

As the NBA Finals got underway last week, Fanatics introduced a “fan wagon” selling championship merchandise on Sunday morning, June 14, at New York City hot spots, including Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center and the West 4th Street basketball courts, drawing lines of a reported “up to 150 people at a time,” with the line outside the NBA flagship store on New York City’s 5th Avenue on Monday, June 15, “snaked around the corner.”

Topps, the official NBA trading card partner, which is owned by Fanatics, also dropped the 2026 NBA Champions NBA Topps Now 16-team set for $79.99, where collectors can look for autograph cards, a dual auto-relic card and a quintuple autograph card of the Knicks’ starting five.
