Fanatics Commerce appointed Jamie Gersch, formerly at Rothy’s and Old Navy, as chief marketing officer, effective immediately.
Gerschn has more than two decades of experience in brand marketing. She was chief marketing officer at Rothy’s, the San Francisco-based, eco-friendly footwear brand, from December 2022 to April 2026. At Rothy’s, she “led global marketing and e-commerce with a focus on strengthening cultural relevance, deepening emotional connection, and growing the brand’s community of loyal customers through purpose driven storytelling,” according to Fanatics’ statement.
Previously, she was SVP and chief marketing officer at Old Navy from 2016 to November 2022. In her role at Old Navy, she was responsible for “guiding marketing strategy for the beloved American brand and driving commercial growth through breakthrough campaigns, integrated brand storytelling & full funnel marketing helping to drive multi-billion-dollar sales growth.”
Before Old Navy, she spent more than a decade at Gap, Old Navy’s sister banner.
“Fanatics sits at the intersection of sports, culture, and commerce in a way that very few others can claim, and that’s an extraordinary place to build from,” said Gersch. “Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate to help guide marketing for a world-class group of brands, and I have never been more confident in my decision to join Fanatics, where there are endless opportunities to create lasting, meaningful relationships with sports fans as we work to become a truly beloved brand.”
“As we continue to build the Fanatics Commerce brand and sharpen our focus on delivering for sports fans around the world, Jamie is perfect leader to unify our marketing efforts and drive the next generation of fan engagement, said Andrew Low Ah Kee, CEO of Fanatics Commerce. “Jamie brings a rare combination of brand instinct, customer focus, and performance discipline that perfectly aligns with our long-term vision, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her join the team at such a pivotal time for the organization.”
