The Faction Collective will design and manufacture a new range of freeride and freestyle skis for Quiksilver Inc.s Roxy brand that will hit retailer shelves in autumn 2015.

The two companies said they decided to proceed on the project after developing a strong working relationship through collaboration with elite freeskier Candide Thovex. Combining Factions award-winning product development expertise and global ski distribution with Roxys unique womens-specific focus and formidable marketing reach has already generated a strong positive response from retailers.

As an independent we saw the potential with Roxy to create something special integrating performance and design to create a beautiful, versatile range of skis, The Faction Collective co-founder and Design Director Tony McWilliam explained. We liked what Roxy was doing with collaborations like Diane von Furstenberg and with our design-focused philosophy we created a strong, innovative line to appeal to riders across skiing styles from freeride or freestyle to those who enjoy the piste.

This project builds on strengths that have made Faction one of the fastest-growing snowsports companies today, co-founder and CEO Alex Hoye adds We obsess about product and design, were global and we move fast.  After the line is released, we actively engage with our athletes, retail partners and fans online and on snow to get the word out and to hear what we have to do to make them better.  To push the limits of action sports today you have to do it all.

Inspired by the need to deliver innovation at every stage from bottom-up product development to a 30-country sales network for the exclusive licensing agreement, Faction has formed a new design and distribution division, Full Stack Supply Co.

The Faction Collective was formed in 2006. Roxy hardgoods will be designed and sold by Factions Full Stack Supply Co. division under exclusive license.
