Three new fabric technologies in PrimaLoft’s Cross Core Series will debut at retail Fall 2019.

The CoreSeries of fabrics fuses PrimaLoft fibers with next-gen materials including silica aerogel, a material developed by NASA composed of more than 95-percent air. The lightweight insulation, when used in outerwear, is capable of holding up to extreme temperatures because the fabric locks out cold and heat. Thirty industry-leading outerwear brands are using one or all three technical fabrics in upcoming collections — Adidas, Black Diamond, Dynafit, La Sportiva, Maljoa, Montane, Mountain Hardwear, Norrona, Peak Performance, Ping, POC, Quicksilver, Reusch, and Simms.

Available at retail Fall 2019, each of the three fabrics include Cross Core technology — PrimaLoft Gold, PrimaLoft Gold Hi-Loft Ultra, and the loose fill PrimaLoft Silver. The fabrics provide up to 52-percent more warmth with the same weight compared to PrimaLoft Gold and contain 35-percent post-consumer recycled content.
