Fabletics expects to open 15 to 20 stores in Europe over the next two to three years while also planning shop-in-shops inside retailers’ stores.

The news came from a Fashion United interview with Mark Ralea, Fabletics Europe’s general manager.

The first opening will be a flagship in Berlin, Germany, with other openings with distribution partners to follow in Eastern Europe and Italy. Other regions being explored include London.

Fabletics currently has no stores in Europe. The company opened a store in Berlin during the COVID pandemic, but it closed in 2023 due to difficult market conditions. A store on Regent Street in London closed last year as the brand did not receive a lease extension.

Fabletics also plans shop-in-shops this year, including 115 brand spaces inside German fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorfer across Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe, as well as spaces inside German department store group Galeria.

Fabletics’ push into Europe has included pop-ups at retailers like Wöhrl, Gigasport and Westwing, as well as partnerships with online retailers such as Zalando, AboutYou and Next.co.uk.
